Homemade Dog Shampoo

8 ounces Ivory or Dove liquid dish soap
8 ounces water
8 ounces apple cider vinegar
2 ounces glycerin (purchase from drugstore)

Mix all ingredients together and use as mush as needed to completely lather dog. Rinse thoroughly.

This recipe makes the perfect dog shampoo substitute! The dish soap gets the dirt out, the apple cider vinegar eliminates odor and improves shine, and the glycerin leaves your dog with an extra silky, smooth coat.

Leave-in Conditioner

2 teaspoon dried rosemary
1 teaspoon dried lavender leaves
4 cup of boiling water

Pour boiling water over herbs and let set until it has completely cool!

After bathing your dog with the handmade dog shampoo, pour over dog’s coat and do NOT rinse out.

Handmade Paw Softener

(great for cracked paws)
½ cup olive oil
4 drops sweet orange oil (purchase from health food store)
2 teaspoons freshly cut lemon juice

Mix all ingredients together thoroughly.

Apply softener to nails and pads in a gentle circular motion.
